His Grace the Bishop
Bishop Abram III, Metropolitan of Fayoum and Abbot of Archangel Gabriel Monastery, Naqlun (1985- )
Born in Qena, February 11, 1950.
Graduated from the Theological College in 1975.
Entered Saint Bishoy Monastery as a novice monk on August 2, 1976.
Ordained as a monk on March 21, 1977, with the monastic name Fr. Timothy of Saint Bishoy.
Ordained as a priest on January 29, 1978, and served in the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah), Sultanate of Oman, and Kingdom of Bahrain from December 1, 1978 to April 22, 1984.
Ordained as a hegumen (archpriest) on August 1, 1979.
Episcopal Ordination: Consecrated as Bishop by His Holiness Pope Shenouda III on Pentecost, June 2, 1985.
Received a Diploma in Coptic History from the Institute of Coptic Studies with distinction in February 1994.
Awarded a Doctorate degree in Coptic History with highest honors from the Institute of Coptic Studies on January 27, 2004, for his dissertation titled "Fayoum Between Past and Present."
Metropolitan Rank: Elevated to Metropolitan on November 25, 2018, by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II.

- Professor of Comparative Theology at the Theological College since 1984
- Taught at Alexandria Theological College (1986-1987)
- Taught at the Bible Institute in Damanhur (2000-2001)
- Member of the National Unity Committee in Fayoum Governorate
